Korean Idols Brings Retro Back!

Korean Idols Brings Retro Back!

Trends keep changing as the years go by. Clothes are essential as they help in expressing one's 'vibe' or personality. One of the trends that keep coming back is the 'vintage' trend, to be more specific clothes and accessories like Denim, Flares, Overalls, Sneakers, Bucket hats, Sling bags, Leather jackets, Flared shirts, Pants, Hoops earrings, Beret, Coats, Locket necklace etc.

Retro is the new trend!

Discussing fashion and trends, kpop artists and their stylists are really popular for bringing back the retro trend. As kpop has become the biggest genre, kpop artists have not only changes the game in the music industry but also the fashion industry. All the members from BTS are well known for not only wearing trendy clothes but also for selling those clothes in a few minutes. Jeon Jungkook, the youngest member of the group also known as the golden maknae of BTS has a Midas touch, whatever he wears, sells out in a few minutes. He recently made Hanbok (a traditional Korean outfit) back in trend, by wearing it as airport fashion etc.

Bucket Hat

The 80s and the hip-hop community saw the immense potential in bucket hats (some would argue that the bucket introduced rappers to the world of headwear), with many embracing the style on album covers and in music videos. The Trend of Bucket Hat is back in 2020.

Denim Jacket

If jeans are as American as apple pie, then denim jackets are the vanilla ice cream on top: cool, classic, and always appealing. The denim jacket had already been trending for, oh, just 130 years or so.

Overalls/ Dungarees

Reliable, hardwearing and damn right stylish we all love a good pair of dungarees. The dungaree was first brought to light in the 17th century India where the cloth used for making cheap, robust working clothes was called Dungri, the Hindi name of the Indian village which produced this hardwearing fabric. Dungarees have stood the test of time from a simple piece of the 17th-century cloth of the utilitarian and ultra-cool the garment is worn by everyone from royalty to railroads workers.

Sling Bags

Sling bags are considered a modern-day piece of accessory, but what may come across as a pleasant surprise is that these bags have a lot of ancient history attached to them, which can be traced back to as far as the biblical times. Sling bags have gone through a large amalgamation of style, and new designs have been incorporated in this accessory in order to keep up with the fashionable times. Since these bags are not extremely expensive, anyone and everyone can buy several at a time, and the maintenance the level is pretty low as well, which make it a well-liked fashion accessory throughout the world.

Leather Jacket

In 1928, the leather jacket was first introduced as a fashionable garment by the super talented and an inspiration to many future designers, Irvin Schott. Many fashion enthusiasts began adopting the style into their daily wear, and the leather jacket became a staple for every fashionista’s closet. The trend truly skyrocketed in the 1950s with the Hollywood embracing it in some of the most popular and highly acclaimed movies of the day. From grunge and edgy studded leather jackets to some vibrantly coloured, bold fashion jackets to contemporary, minimalistic designs – leather jackets of the modern times are fit for every occasion.

Beret

The beret has been around for a while and has been linked with plethora of different types of people, countries and identities. Its a hat with a powerful, unlikely history. The silhouette of the beret we know of the today-a disk of wool that snuggly hugs the wearer's head-has been around for thousands of years. We are now in a decade where the political beret and the fashionable beret can live harmoniously, with performers and designers looking to the past for a few revolutionary fashion statements.

Suspenders

The first suspenders can be traced to the 18th century France, where they are basically strips of ribbon attached to the buttonholes of trousers. Recent years have seen a fascination with early 20th-century culture.

The world of fashion is known for reviving trends. Fashion trends change quickly, and the fashionistas across the world embrace the latest ones with all the love. While change is constant in the fashion world, another thing that steals the spotlight is the revival of trends. Retailers and clothing brands are creating athleisure looks to help meet the daily demands of everyone in the family. Hope this blog helps you keep up with new fashion trends that are going around the world right now!

  3. Your attire describes your personality your inner self. While changing clothes every morning, you only wear what you like or what you love or what you think suits you. But now a days your conscious mind overrule your inner self.
